I'm rebuilding the neck on an old 3 pickup Baldwin, and the bridge is just too much...About 4 or 5 different adjustments/options..Not to mention, how the heck do you load the strings on this thing!?!?!?..Any clues would be hepfull...

If you google image burns guitars you get a pic of that bridge and a description of its operation (such as it was).......http://www.excellentleads.com/burns.html is what my computer went to. I think Leo Fender would be shaking his head ! It seems that the whole bridge/saddle assy slides back n forth during trem use , I'd be changing strings one at a time , if you ever get that far.Len
Yeah, I found that..It does have a photo of the same bridge..No help on adjustments..There's an adjustment on the back of the bridge that looks like the truss rod adjustment on an Ernie Ball guitar...I wonder what that does?..
I think that spoke nut in the back is the tension adj for the spring(s) underneath the plate?
