Scale length for resonator guitar

In measuring the scale length for a resonator guitar, do you measure to the exact center of the spider bridge slot or to the front of said slot?  Any input will be appreciated. I LOVE Frets.net

Measure nut to 12th and double it , the cones can move around a bit and also rotate . A little rotation will probably help intonation .
