THIS CALL I JUST GOT I WAS THE LUCKY GUY A FEW DAYS AGO WHO WAS ABLE TO VIEW A 1948 GIBSON ACOUSTIC ALL ORIGINAL THE GUY JUST LEFT ME A MESSAGE HE STRIPED IT OUCH I WANT TO PUKE THIS GUITAR WAS ALL ORIGINAL AND HE SANDED IT DOWN NOOOOOOOOOO, I ALMOST WANT TO TELL HIM NOT TO CALL ME ANY MORE BUT HE NEED HELP WHAT DO I DO GUYS?

You fix the guitar and be a part of restoring a 1948 Gibson. You can't go back in time and slap him for doing it, so look to the future where you can slap him for putting a Detroit Redwings sticker on his restored Gibson.

Sounds like he made a big mistake on his guitar... But it is his guitar. You have a golden opportunity to do some teaching. I've seen a lot of people make mistakes because they didn't know what they had or how to keep it. One of my Brothers-in-law sold an "old (Martin) guitar" to a neighbor for fifty bucks because he didn't play anymore. I've never had the heart to tell him what a mistake he made.
