I recently posted a question regarding open 3-6 string vibe on my 000-28ecb and was able to get satisfactory results by working with the setup and changing from light to medium strings.

Right now all sounds good, I lost some of the harmonics and I am assuming it is from the medium strings but I am now noticing now a slight shrill ring on strum with open 1 or 2. It is not too pronounced but it is annoying and seems to start after a few strums. It is more prevalent on the high E but the B can be noticable also.

Bright is good but too bright on the high end gets seemingly shrill sounding.

I was thinking about changing to a Tusq saddle in lieu of the bone since the guitar does have an undersaddle pickup.

Any suggestions?

THE BONE SHOULD BE FINE IT HAS BEEN THE LUTHIERS CHOICE FOR OVER 300 YEARS WHY CHANGE IT ?SOUNDS LIKE MABY THE ACTION IS LOW A SCHRILL SOUND COULD BE YOUR STRINGS HITTING FRET TOPS ADJUSTING THE NECK THEN LOOK AT THE NUT THEN ADDRESS THE SADDLE APPROPRIATELY
This type of sound can be too much level at the nut on a specific string which should angle down toward the tuner. If it is flat across it will ting. Also check all screws on tuners and or buttons. Is it thru a P/U?Or totally unplugged 'cause it could be poor contact on the pickup at those strings
