First try at repairing a crack

Hello All.

 

Martin OMCX1KE bought at auction.

after repairing crack in face it needs a little refinishing.

Martin has used a satin finish. Anyone have any info or suggestions

regarding what product to use?

The original finish used on those tops is a wipe-on urethane called Master Gel, made by Behlen. I'd stick with that for guaranteed compatibility. You can increase the gloss by putting a few more coats on, too.

LMI sells cross linking top coats for many applications. you could read up on any of their products for future consideration. i have used them with success although gregs suggestion would be the first choice on this project.
