Hi all,

I have a madeira A30R acoustic gutiar that has a neck angle issue and i was wondering what kind of glue they used in it. it has one stud through the block with a nut and thats it. I removed the nut and was trying to steam the neck off and it doesn't even budge and it makes me think its not even wood glue of any kind. Any ideas??

Thanks.

I experimented with a Fein Multi tool, and have settled on using an extremely thin Japanese pullsaw,

I ended up using that flush cutting pull saw they sell at stew mac its only like 10 bucks worked great till i got to the metal stud. Like i said before i should have tried to remove it and continued sawing, but i just cracked the rest loose. Took a little bit of rosewood with it :( I will end up doing a fade of some dark shade there though. I will be getting a nice japanese pullsaw in the near future also...... the handle came off that stew mac flush cutting saw... They will probably fix me up with a new one so i'm not worried.

Thanks for all the info everyone, You guys are always the first place i turn when I need help. Keep up the good work!
