My guess it says the same as it dose in English! I don't think it's going to make any differents any way. As you want to find the value of it I thought. Or are you trying to learn Japanese? Bill.""""""""""
good bill although I am after which Yairi built this particular guitar for reference only i refuse to think that is the same thing in English haha lol since it dose not have which yairi in spelled out in English hey bill do you teach at roberto venn ?
Not to detract from the entertainment value of this thread, but the original text is either Kanji, Hirigani, or Katakani, I'm not sure which (each character per word, each character per letter, each character per vowel sound). So unless you have a Japanese keyboard this translator won't do much good.

But maybe you already know this :)

SORRY GUYS I AM STILL OUT OF LUCK
Paul, I have the same model. Mine was made in 1964 and bought in London for around 20 pounds in the same year or maybe in 65. I kept with it for about two years and then moved onto a steel-stringed Levin. The Yairi was put away in my attic, never to be touched again when about a year I decided to start playing guitar again after a 30 year break. I remembered I still had the Yairi, had it restrung, and was amazed at the incredible tone. I’ve been playing it ever since. Like yourself, I would love to know what it is worth.

When I bought the guitar I hadn’t got much of a clue on that front, but a friend of mine who was studying at Goldsmith College in London, who also played guitar, knew his woodwork! He suggested I travel down to London and he would help me choose a model. I still remember him staying not to be put off by the fact that it was “made in Japan” and that the craftmanship was excellent. Twenty pounds in those days was more than a week’s wage for a youngster like me!
Benard add me as a friend so we can chat can You send me photos of your guitar
