If Frank says it's ok to post pretty pictures, I would love to see on-going and latest finished instruments here.

How about it Frank? I'd love to show off a couple of my 'Stove Wood' guitars here.

OF course! Just click on the pic icon, and have at it. Try to keep the picture to about 800 pixels wide, and use medium JPEG compression for quick loading.

Are we OK also with ongoing or finished vintage projects?
Or not even started...?

Ok, I'll start. This is basically a 00-18 style guitar, plays pretty.

Here's my latest "StoveWood" project. Poplar back and sides, "SPF" (spruce?) top, and a 5 piece maple neck. All of the wood except the bridge and fingerboard are either from the wood pile, or the local 'Lowe's" store.

Very nice. How does it sound?

I'm not a luthier, but I just picked up this conversion from the Ovation factory on Tuesday (August 18, 2008). What a cool instrument. Now I need to learn how to play it!

Here's the original Ovation Elite

Here's my new Custom Mandocello

That's one of the best uses of an Ovation I've seen. I like it!

A couple of you may have seen this before, but the pic below is of my recently completed first build. It is a 12 fret 00 with red spruce over mahogany. (I hope it will show up. I'm not sure about this interface.)

Here is a design for a full size travel guitar I have been working on - guitAR 7. I've changed a few of the details on later models, but for the most part it is the same.
