'64 J-200 neck reset - anyone here done one?

Hey folks,

Well, it doesn't have to be a '64...(:<>)

I picked up an older J-200 when I was in L.A. a few weeks ago, and now that I'm getting ready to take it apart, I thought I'd see if anyone who's performed a reset on one of these venerable old workhorses had any advice for me.

I'm aware of the fact that it has a solidbody-style neck tenon, and FF was kind enough to share his experience with dealing with one, yet I'm curious if anyone here has done one, (or better still, done a few) as well as any other repair/specs info you might be kind enough to share with me.

Fwiw, the guitar was previously owned by the guitarist in Blues Traveler. As it's had some work done to it previously, I have tried to contact him in order to see if he could steer me torwards whoever that person or persons might be, yet so far have been unsuccessful - just thought I'd mention this in case it registers with anyone here - small world ya know...
