Hi,

I have an old Brazos acoustic guitar, model BA-50.

This was my first guitar, bought used over 15 years ago.

I eventually sold it, but recently tracked it down and

got it back!

Anyway, I cannot find any info on it on-line.

It was made in Korea, and it's from the late 80's,

but that is all I know.

Does anyone know more about this guitar?

The guitar still looks and sounds awesome.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Arthur.

The guitar is most likely a "house branded" instrument, meaning a music store probably had a few hundred made under that brand name for sale in their store.  Odds are that the origin is the Samick factory.

Those are my best guesses.

Nice guitar Arthur.  Enjoy it (-:

All the best,

Paul

Brazos was a house brand commissioned by a US Tokai salesman from Texas circa 1982.

He had replicas of his favorite guitars. The most of the electric models were Alembic.

The acoustic models were Fender. He took the Fender acoustic headstock

and reversed it. Even the same veneer was used.

Very high quality.

I have a model 200 which looks exactly like a Fender.

Thanks for the info!

In your opinion, what are they worth, in good shape?
