I Have some and it seems like it would be good.  How about staining it with fingerboard stain?

I THINK IT WOOD HAH LOL WOOD I HAVE NEVER TRIED AS A BRIDGE BUT NECKS FINGER BOARDS TOTALLY GO FOR IT SOME ONE ELSE I AM SURE HAS I HAVE SEEN MANY DIFFERENT THINGS JUST ATTENDING 1 NAMM SHOW AMAZING WHAT WE COME UP WITH BUILD ONE AND LET US KNOW PLEASE
The nice thing about wenge is the subtle color of the light and dark lines. Dyeing it would obliterate the main thing it has going for it. I've used it for bridges and boards, but it tends to split easily and has ferocious splnters. I don't do much with it anymore.
I have a nice wenge board I thought I'd make some parlor guitar back and sides out of. Have any of you used wenge for B&S?
