There are some on eBay (repro's I think).... if you contacted a friendly seller, he/she might take some careful measurements before selling it?
If memory serves, Frank Ford had photographed one at some point and the pix were on frets.com. If it's something that Gryphon still has hanging-around, maybe you could work-out a deal to get it measured.
Thanks Mike:
I attempted to contact the owner of the replica on eBay but he didn't respond. I was able to contact the builder of the instrument and he gave me the scale length. I am hoping to locate someone who has one that can give me some detailed measurements. I saw the one on Frets.com and am using those photos to extrapolate some of the measurements but I would rather get something more precise.
Iam sorry .I never saw a Ukulele that I would ever think of paying that kind of money for.Mabe we should all start building Ukuleles????
Jack, does this ad and copy tell you anything you don't already know? They are from Washburn Prewar Instrument Styles, and there is a little more information in the general section on Ukuleles that I can quote you if it will help.

The book has Frank's pictures and some close up of the peg head and tuners, and a bit more discussion of the Shrine and the Bell Uke (which didn't get produced for more than a year or so). Want any of that?
And note that the description in the text doesn't 100% match the ad.

Barbara:
I would be very greatful for any additional information you have. I am hopiing to build several of these interesting little instruments. Jim Beloff has one and says the L&H shrine and bell ukuleles are among his favorites. You can correspond directly with me at oldtucsonjack@yahoo.com if that is easier.
Thanks once again. JC
