Source for fret wire with wider tang width

I’m looking for a source for fret wire with a wider tangs to be used to straighten a mandolin neck with a slight bow. The neck has a nonadjustable truss rod and is fretted with Stew Mac fret wire # 0147. I think the tang on that fret wire is .022 “ (they don't list the width), so I would want some sizes wider than that. Also any tips, if anyone has experience with this procedure.

I don't have this tool but I'm pretty sure that you can resize the fret tang to be wider or narrower.

I can vouch for the usefulness of the tool. I have the older version, a set of 2 pliers, which get pulled out for most refrets I do. You'll appreciate having just the right fit of tang for each fretboard. Compression fretting is liable to have a greater effect on the bow if the fingerboard is ebony than rosewood (especially Indian), which will mash more by the wider tang.

I've had a stash, acquired about 10yrs ago, of replacement fret wire that Martin used to sell for repair. It has about 6 or 7 different tang widths and has really come in handy over the years for the occasional oddball fret slot.

Having said that, I have no idea if Martin still readily sells this stuff or not... but it's another path to investigate,
