I'm on a bender

Anyone ever heard of using fabric softener to help persuade certain woods into bending more easily?

I've heard of it, but I've never tried it. Some people use a product called Super Soft to help with bending difficult woods.

And there have been some amazing hard to believe posts on what Super Soft does over on the Mandolincafe also.

I have not heard of fabric softener.

I use a local brand of veneer softener and would not bend without it now makes it so much easier.

A friend uses fabric softener and swears by it but I don't know dilution etc.

If you have the Supersoft 2 available I'd go for it

N ever used the fabric softener, but i have used veneer softener that i bought from woodcraft ,with sucess
