Hi folks , i just spent about an hour locating a rattle in a new guitar which had a Baggs Anthem system . I thought Id give you a heads-up , the small jacks from pickup and mic which plug into the pre-amp , have a metal shell (like a small guitar lead) this shell comes loose and rattles horribly around G and B open strings . I pulled them and applied a little titebond to the threads . Hope this saves you some time .

Thanks Len, and for all our Australian dudes, Maton has from time to time put a washer under the clip that holds the transducer lead to the transducer block on their AP series UST.  When the screw holding this tight slackens it's grip it gets nasty at certain frequencise as this washer resonates.   Ditto some style of Martin Vintage tuner ferrules (the ones with the washers under them) - when they have even a couple of thou to play with you get a really nice steely resonance on some strings in some places which can drive an acoustic player nuts - fast.

Franks big buzz pages are life savers - maybe we can all chip in with things that we have discovered and share the love, thanks Len.

Rusty.

Well, if we're all chipping in, I've noticed that a lot of import acoustic-electrics with this style battery box can often get a bad rattle in the battery door. I usually stick a thin piece of adhesive backed foam in the little square shaped recess on the inside of the door, it fits right in and looks like it belongs there.
