Neck angle/bridge height on a classical guitar

Hello again

 

I know that if I put o ruler on the fretboard it has to land just on the bridge.

Is this the same for a classical guitar?

 

I have an old Hofner and when i put the ruler on the fretboard it lands under the edge of the bridge, ~3mm or more.

 

Or, I can ask in another way - what is the correct action for a classical guitar?

My problem is - on my Hofner classic guitar, if I put a straightedge across the frets, like in the attached picture (I tooked from this discussion http://fretsnet.ning.com/forum/topics/question-about-neck-angle-of-a ), the straghtedge lands under the top of the bridge, 3 or 4 mm. That will give a high action. Is this normal on a classical guitar, or I will need a neck reset?

Neck angle on a classical for what I've read is 0 to a slight negative angle.I'm sure some are made with positive but requirements are more exagerated for steel stringed.Check out Cumpiano's site under his notes about neck angle.
