I just did a fairly major overhaul of a trashed D-12-20 Martin, and the tuners are beyond terrible.  Has anyone used the 12 string restoration tuners from Stew Mac? Are they a drop in for a Martin?  Do they work well?  I'd appreciate any opinions-thanks.

They work very well, and the spacing is correct.  Screw holes don't necessarily line up, of course.  Martin used three different sets of tuners on the slot head 12-strings.
I have used the 6-string ones, but not the 12s.  They are good quality, look the part and are great value for money.  The range is getting broader now, too.
Thanks guys.  I figured the screw holes might not line up, but that's minor.  This guitar has the first style tuners(the worst, IMO).  I had a later D-12-35 with the Kolb tuners, and they were better, but the buttons were too large and close together.  Perhaps the Stew Mac tuners are the solution.
