Brazilian Rosewood repair

Due to an accident, the details of which I won't go into....I now have a crack in the newly bent Brazilian Rosewood side (treble) of a guitar I've started. Goes from the end pin along the middle lengthwise up to the waist. This pair has not been trimmed or glued up with end/neck blocks yet ....they are loose in the form.
My question: What glue have you used to repair such a mishap (or related situation). The break is thankfully clean and mates up, comes together to be quite invisible.
Prefer "been there "advice, to "I would imagine".

Best Glue?
Hot hide glue is what I would use. Once the guitar is finished you shouldn't see any evidence of the crack.

CA would also be my choice just because it wicks into cracks so well. However, you will want to spend some time to set up the gluing to ensure that you have everything lined up exactly as you want it in a hands-free state. Once you set the tip of the applicator to the crack, you better like how it's sitting.

THE GOOD THING ABOUT CA IS IT WILL TURN CLEAR WHEN SANDED AND LACQUERED ALONG WITH EPOXY

Hi michael-- I had a happening like you described and along with gluiong the crack together again I also added side braces made from 1/4X1/4 inch spruce and glued them in across the grain to stiffin up the sides. Start from the keck joint and go every 3 inches to the tail block..both sides...and taper the ends of the braces..
might sound like a lot of over kill but I now do this to every flat top I make.

Being the sides are not on the guitar, and you want to use superglue, it's fairly simple to fix with thin superglue

.As for alignment and clamping. I would use spool clamps. Before applying glue, apply the clamps and align the crack perfectly. Next, very slightly loosen the clamps, now apply thin superglue(it will easily wick it's way in the crack). You can also flex the side a little if need be to get the gue to wick in. Now snug down the clamps, and you would have a perfectly glued and aligned repair.
