wore thru finish on larravee neck

Hi all, I have a really nice larravee i am working on, my customer has worn clear thru the finish on the back of the neck, i have sanded wth micro mesh its ready to touch up, not sure what to use, i know it has a uv cured finish and the customer doesnt want to spend much on it, sooo im looking for a reasonable quick remedy that wont look like crap. help!

Apply some shellac with a pad or brush. About as inexpensive as I can think of, but still should look fine and seal the bare wood.
But, if it was my guitar, I'd probably leave it like it is, with the wear.
