This goes out to the builders.
I've been using a bandsaw sled with a spring loaded indexing pin that I made a few years ago ....it works fine. I have friend that makes 2 sided kerfing with a table saw jig, I like it better but I hate changing blades. This is why I have 2 bandsaws and 2 table saws.... btw
I'm thinking of getting a table saw blade sharpened in a V shape and switchcutting the kerfing so the V is always on the inside. Any thoughts on this?

John, how about a picture or two of you jig.
Are you thinking that a V shaped slot will allow you to cut fewer slots?
Ned, I am thinking that John is thinking that it will make the kerf way more flexible. If that is your though John, I totally think that is what will happen...
Sorry life got hectic for a few weeks. Ned here's a link to my blog with the kerfing jig I made.

The V slot seems like a way to leave more gluing surface on the kerfing and more flexibility at the same time.
John
Looks good John!
