Truss Rod Nuts
Looking for a source for Fender Mexico truss nut. I have a strat with a stripped nut. It's an allen nut, and appears to be 4.5mm. It's rounded over, and needs replaced. Anyone try those StewMac gripper wrenches for extraction? It would nice to find a source for 4mm & 5mm nuts as well.

www.guitarpartsresource.com have them - look under hardware, trussnuts- at $4.95; Mexican; for guitar and bass (same). Gis a reply ifn you dont have web and I'll scare up an address for you. Rusty.

I got it out! I found a wrench in my drawer of unknown allen wrenches that fit better than my standard set. I marked it as Mex Fender. Someone cranked it stupid tight! But then again, this guitar should have come with a quill and arrows.... Thanks for the link Rusty. I'm going get a few for the future.
