home made Arbor fret Press

Hey gang, I just got bought an arbor press like the one i used while i was an apprentice at Rauen guitars. My question is, what is the best way to attach something that would hold different radius blocks for fretting. Has anyone here made their own arbor fret press? I couldnt justify buying the one from stew mac seeing as they are not that much money and i used an old home made one for years.

hi alexander. i made this for pushing fret wire in to slots [ 10" radius ]. flat steel attached to a fork-end clevis that goes straight into my drill press chuck. it can be set solidly or loosened for some movement. i guess if other radius option were needed i could simply make spare steel blocks.
