Can someone here make me a period correct '51 Southern Jumbo pickguard?

The title says it all. I have no template, and don't know the exact plastic used either. If something is for sale in 'Parts' section of Ebay, I'd consider that too.

Terrapin Pickguards I found a site, but need the plastic type. I have never seen one sooo. Is it just a straight black plastic?

Ditto the site that Kerry found.  Since I live in Oregon, Terrapin Pickguards was "just down the road" in Eugene.  A few years backI had a need for a modified Gibson acoustic pickguard and they were a pleasure to work-with in person.

The owner's name is John and there's no doubt he could come-up with what you need.

I still need to know what the plastic used is. I GOOGLE Imaged this guitar and the pickguards certainly are no black plastic...

Celluloid?

Kerry

Terrapin pickguards is a good source.  I got Gibson style firestripe celluloid one for a L-00 style guitar a few years back.  It was for a new build, not a replacement on an actual vintage Gibson, but it looked very authentic.  Check out the materials gallery on their site.  I think you will find that the brown tortoise celluloid is a very good match for those SJ pictures that you have googled.
