During a band rehearsal my flattop took a fall from a stand to a concrete floor with miraculously, no damage except to one of the Schaller sealed tuners--a small gouge on the button and a split in the nylon washer between the button and the housing.  Does anyone have a source for parts for these tuners?

I've had good luck in the past getting tuner parts from AllParts, and they're a Schaller dealer. Here's their little web-blurb on stocking or ordering what you might need. They carry some single tuners too, if that's easier.  (714) 466-6414 (CST)

I have had a lot of luck with tuner companies simply calling the company and asking for a part. I have found it hard to find specific parts for a specific tuner. Last time I called sperzel the old man sent me a few parts free of charge no shopping or anything. I believe Mr. Sperzel has since passed away. Anyway call Schaller customer service and ask if you can purchase a part.

Hi Larry,

What particular parts do you want, I've got a lot of Shaller knobs (mostly nickel) and various washers both new and used and you're welcome to them free if I've got the specific replacement for you.  Photo next to a ruler would help if you want them.

Regards, Rusty.

Thanks for the offer!  I took Luke's suggestion however and contacted Schaller customer service through their web site.  A nice Dr. Lars Bünning, "Managing Director-Owner" is sending me a set of washers from Germany.  Great service.

No damage to the buttons, by the way.  They're ebony and one little gouge polished out quite easily.
