FRETS.NET

Hello to all!

Some time ago I saw a picture of a 42 strings harp-guitar. I thought it was here on frets.net. I cannot find it now and I realy don't remember who posted it...

Since then I've been wondering how one plays such an instrument. Now, by pure coincidence, I found that you-tube has this instrument "in action".

This was the pic:

To see (and hear) this instrument in action: look on you-tube for Pat Metheny Pikasso 42-string guitar.

Best of luck!

This guitar was built for Pat Metheny by Linda Manzer (electronics designed and installed by Mark Herbert). Google "Pikasso guitar". Scott Chinery commisioned Linda to build the same guitar, without pick-ups, for his collection.
