I was on his Facebook friend list as soon as I knew he had set an account up. I was receiving about 6 posts a day from him, and all of them were totally fascinating. Within a min of each of his posts, it would have been shared about 100 times already! He was doing 3 or 4 science vids every week (sometimes for live interactive elementary schools) and also had a VERA active Twitter account that he was doing .
He has been the most visible face of NASA in the last 30 years, and just came home yesterday aboard a Soviet supply ship after being the Commander of the ISS space station for the last few months.
I can't put it into words how proud I am of this Canadian. What an amazing job he has done trying to get Science to the forefront of our psyche.
